Step 1:
Renters should complete the application using the link above. If you need assistance or are facing eviction, please contact us by phone or text at 225-529-0504.
Step 2:
A Case Manager will contact renter applicants to continue the application process. Case Managers will collect any missing information, verify eligibility, and obtain signatures from the renter and landlord.
Step 3:
If the renter’s application is approved, rental payment will be sent for funding approval, followed by direct payment to the landlord.
Priority 3:
Applicants who applied to the LERAP program in 2020 and were found eligible but did not receive funding
Priority 4:
All other applicants that meet program eligibility requirements
